Vintage 1960s Dynasty Bridal dress and Full Length coat in White/Silver lurex metalesse, textured fabric.
The Dynasty label was established in 1953 by designer Dora Sanders and is known for using fine quality Asian silks for their designs.
Dora manufactured clothing that was sized and styled for Americans living and working in Asia. The Dynasty salon was located in the Peninsula Hotel in Hong Kong and by the end of the 1950s, was stocked in 600 US stores like Niemen Marcus and Lord & Taylor.

Coat
The coat is fully lined andfeatures two pockets hidden in the panels.
Dress
The Dress is a princess line shape, fitted at the waist and with a flared long skirt, fully lined. There are hidden pockets in the panels. The wide round neck has been bound in the metalesse fabric.
The cut and finish on this garment is beautiful as you would expect of a garment of this quality.
CONDITION:
The suit is being sold as seen as there is a certain amount of patching on the fabric due to the silver thread being destroyed by a dry cleaning error (see images). The buttons from the jacket are also missing. However, this is still a stunning wedding suit that deserves some TLC to maximise its potential.
